WW2 DISCOVERY TRAIL

This unique project investigates and reveals the hidden physical legacy of WW2

Our association maps some interesting German and Allies fortification of World War 2. These fortifications are part of the Gothic Line and  have a strong historical value. Some of the German one was constructed by the paramilitary Organisation Todt in Italy.

A first group of fortifications will became part of some discovery trails with different level of difficulty; the first 3 trails  in design phase are:

Trail “A”: the attack to Mount Altuzzo from the East side;

Trail “B”: Mount Altuzzo

Trail “C”: Monticelli ridge.
