We are now approaching the sixth edition of this event. “A Jump into History” 2010, taking place as usual at the historic location of the Giogo Pass, just behind the Mount Altuzzo. will be a new opportunity to show a wide audience how re-enacting and collecting can contribute to preserving the memory of our past, keeping alive interest in the history of our communities. At the same time, we hope it will be the occasion for enjoying a weekend sharing our passion with fellow hobbyists.

On Friday afternoon, US reenactors may participate in a march in the Giogo Pass area, subject to more stringent accuracy rules than for Saturday and Sunday. For more info contact the organization at info@goticatoscana.eu.

On Saturday afternoon, speakers will guide visitors throughout the several scenes explaining the historical background of our event as well as illustrating specific exhibits, while on Sunday afternoon a battle simulation scene will be reenacted and explained to the audience, as was the case last year.

Visitors will have free access to the event on Saturday afternoon (3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m) and Sunday afternoon (2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.)

Participating reenactors who choose to eat their own food on location must use report rations or other types of suitable foods coherent with the historical setup. We remind that for safety reasons no open fires are allowed.
